I could be wrong, but I think there hasn’t been a zombie movie to hit store shelves in at least a few weeks but we the trailer and official key art for the new indie actioner Bridge of the Doomed. Elite soldiers are tasked with securing a bridge to hell as hordes of the undead threaten to overrun them. There’s only one more problem in this entry as there is something underneath the bridge that is eviler and more terrifying than any zombie could ever be. Check out the new footage for the all-out action/horror hybrid from director Michael Su and producer Sonny Mahal. Starring action genre icons Michael Pare and Robert LaSardo, the blood, gore and bullets are going to fly with this one!
Official Synopsis:
A group of soldiers are ordered to hold a bridge during a zombie outbreak, but what lives underneath the bridge, proves to be even more deadly.

I’m a sucker for a good old-fashioned mix of genres and judging from the trailer, we will get plenty of action and horror to satisfy fans of both genres. I’m most interested in seeing veteran bad guy Robert LaSardo who takes a turn here as a good guy. Lasardo does villainy well so watching him command a group of soldiers against the undead looks to be a great Saturday night viewing. Throw in Michael Pare with a rad facial scar and I am sold. Bring on the flesh eating and firepower!
Also starring Kate Watson, Bridge of the Doomed is set to hit November 4th on VOD, Blu-Ray and DVD via Gravitas Ventures. Look out for my early bird review to hit soon!
