Stallone is Back and Building a New Empire in the Teaser for Paramount Plus’ TULSA KING!

By: John M Jerva

You’ll have to excuse my tardiness for delivering this trailer late as it came out yesterday but I had a full plate with physical therapy and doing some really awesome interviews you’ll enjoy when they come out. While I was busy, Paramount Plus unveiled our first look at Sylvester Stallone’s new episodic series Tulsa King which hails from Yellowstone’s Taylor Sheridan and it looks worthy.

Sly is in exile but he’s making the best of a bad situation in the first look teaser and shine it’s brief, it’s enough to get you going for November when the show comes out!

Official Synopsis: Tulsa King follows New York mafia capo Dwight “The General” Manfredi (Stallone), who, as he’s released from prison after 25 years, is unceremoniously exiled by his boss to set up shop in Tulsa, OK. Realizing that his mob family might not have his best interests in mind, Dwight slowly builds a “crew” from a group of unlikely characters to help him establish a new criminal empire in a place that to him might as well be another planet.

Over the last few months, I have rapidly become addicted to the world of Taylor Sheridan dramas and have since fallen in love with Yellowstone and its subsequent prequel 1883. There’s no denying that the man has talent when it comes to creating rich, immersive worlds for television and I’m ultra-hyped for his upcoming project which stars the one and only Sylvester Stallone.

Tulsa King is executive produced by Sheridan, and Stallone as well as David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, Bob Yari, David Hutkin and Allen Coulter. Braden Aftergood is serving as an executive produce.

Tulsa King hits the Paramount+ streaming service this fall on November 13th!
