Heroes Assemble on the New Promo Poster for Steven Luke’s WWII Thriller COME OUT FIGHTING!

By: John M Jerva

Filmmaker Steven Luke is a sure-fire threat for becoming the go to guy when it comes to action films and most notably period war films. With a slew of producer credits under him, Luke is establishing himself as a film threat for the future having already helmed such pics as Wunderland, The Great War, Battle of the Bulge: Winter War and the upcoming WWII actioner Operation Seawolf which features two action stars for the price of one in Dolph Lundgren and Frank Grillo.

Luke has another eagerly ambitious WWII epic coming soon titled Come Out Fighting which assembles stars Kellen Lutz, Michael Jai White and Fast and Furious alum Tyrese Gibson. The film is now complete and as we wait for a launch date, check out some recently updated promotional, teaser key art below which lines up the cast for battle. Keep in mind, the final artwork will be different but this one still piques curiosity.

Synopsis: Late 1944 during WWII, the American army have raced their way through the countryside on the border of France entering Nazi Germany. Hitler desperate to turn the tide, has deployed his secret weapon: an M-262 fighter jet. Lieutenant Frank Ross, a P-51 Mustang fighter pilot, encounters a Nazi weapon, and an intense aerial battle quickly ensues. Lieutenant Frank Ross is unsuccessful in the fight and is forced to eject from his own plane, landing himself behind enemy lines. Waiting for a rescue team, Frank finds himself in the middle of a German ambush against an American Tanker Patrol. Leading the USA Patrol is the 2nd Lt. Robert Hayes along with his right-hand soldier, “Sergeant A.J. Red McCarron and also Private Michael “Salty” Buttons serving the famed 761st Tank Battalion known as “The Black Panthers.” Buttons and the others must find a way to put differences aside and band together to win this war.

There’s nothing like a good WWII action pic and with the talent heavy firepower involved and Luke’s established cred, this one should deliver the bombastic goods with plenty of explosions and battle heavy set pieces. This one is definitely on my hot list to see. Expect a trailer reaction episode of The Action Fix Live when we finally get first look footage.

Lundgren wasn’t announced as part of the cast until White’s post on Instagram a while back which makes this film sound even better and coincidentally, this isn’t Lundgren’s first WWII pic as he also starred with Luke Goss in War Pigs which was also produced by Luke.

Keep it locked and loaded right here for more 411 to come on Come Out Fighting as we are your destination for everything action in 2022 and beyond!
