Just like this morning’s unexpected trailer debut of the new Mission: Impossible movie, we now have the full, extended trailer for the MCU’s next entry in Phase IV. that’s right true believers, the new trailer for Thor: Love and Thunder has just dropped during the NBA playoffs, and we have all the comic book inspired action and insanity for you below as we get two Thors for the price of one with Natallie Portman reprising her role of Jane Foster who is also known as the new Thunder God. Check out the new footage along with rad new key art below!

“The film finds Thor (Chris Hemsworth) on a journey unlike anything he’s ever faced – a quest for inner peace. But his retirement is interrupted by a galactic killer known as Gorr the God Butcher (Christian Bale), who seeks the extinction of the gods. To combat the threat, Thor enlists the help of King Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), Korg (Taika Waititi), and ex-girlfriend Jane Foster (Natalie Portman), who – to Thor’s surprise – inexplicably wields his magical hammer, Mjolnir, as the Mighty Thor. Together, they embark upon a harrowing cosmic adventure to uncover the mystery of the God Butcher’s (Christian Bale) vengeance and stop him before it’s too late.”

As expected, we see a lot more with this trailer which might be bad depending how fresh you want to go into the movie when it opens in July. We do finally get to see Christian Bale as Gorr the God Butcher along with Russell Crowe taking a stab at playing the all mighty Zeus. Gorr wants only one thing and that’s the extinction of all gods which leads Thor (Hemsworth) to come out of retirement in an effort to stop him. He has some serious backup however as Jane is now his equal as the female Thor. This one looks like a rollicking good time so July 8th cannot get here fast enough.
