TULSA KING: Paramount Serves Up a First Look Image of Stallone from Taylor Sheridan’s Upcoming Mob/Crime Drama

By: John M Jerva

Over the last few months, I have rapidly become addicted to the world of Taylor Sheridan dramas and have since fallen in love with Yellowstone and its subsequent prequel 1883. There’s no denying that the man has talent when it comes to creating rich, immersive worlds for television and I’m ultra-hyped for his upcoming project which stars the one and only Sylvester Stallone.

The new series that will debut on Paramount Plus is called Tulsa King and it stars Sly as a New York Mafia boss and if it’s only one third as good as the aforementioned series, I will most certainly be hooked from the opening minutes of the pilot episode.

A first look image has surfaced of Stallone in full character and you can see him below along with the show’s official.

Tulsa King follows New York mafia capo Dwight “The General” Manfredi (Stallone), who, as he’s released from prison after 25 years, is unceremoniously exiled by his boss to set up shop in Tulsa, OK. Realizing that his mob family might not have his best interests in mind, Dwight slowly builds a “crew” from a group of unlikely characters to help him establish a new criminal empire in a place that to him might as well be another planet.

Tulsa King is executive produced by Sheridan, and Stallone as well as David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, Bob Yari, David Hutkin and Allen Coulter. Braden Aftergood is serving as an executive produce.

Let’s hope we get first look footage and a launch date soon for Tulsa King because I’m literally going crazy as I wait for season five of the Kevin Costner led Yellowstone which is, in my opinion, one of the best series on television.

Keep it locked and loaded right here for more as we are your destination for everything action in 2022 and beyond!
