Hopefully, we’ll get to see all the movie footage hitting the CinemaCon in Vegas. In the meantime, we’ve got some news for you regarding Mission: Impossible 7 as star Tom Cruise has personally unveiled the title for the delayed next installment in the only way Ethan Hunt could.
The official title is Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part 1 and Cruise made the announcement on top of a plane mid air.
Cruise also gave those in attendance, their first look at the trailer and hopefully we’ll get to see it soon enough. This installment has a lot to live up to as number 6 is regarded as one of the best action films ever. No pressure there.
The footage description included insane car chases, globe-trotting action that is unrivaled and Cruise running on top of trains. All in a days work. Hayley Atwell is also featured prominently and did I forget to say the the trailer ended with Tom Cruise a doing what he does best with a bombastic free fall from a motorcycle off of a cliff.
Also starring are Rebecca Ferguson (Doctor Sleep), Simon Pegg (Ready Player One), and Ving Rhames (Pulp Fiction), who all are returning along with Vanessa Kirby (Hobbs & Shaw), and Henry Czerny (Ready or Not). New additions include Shea Whigham (Joker), Pom Klementieff (Guardians of the Galaxy 2, Avengers: Infinity War) and Esai Morales (La Bamba, Titans) who replaced Nicholas Hoult as the main villain.
The eight film which was filmed back to back will also be known as Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part Two. The next two films will launch on July 14, 2023, and June 28, 2024.
