Netflix is bringing the hype for their upcoming 2022 slate of films in an all-new teaser trailer. The sneak peek gives us our first look at such action titles as The Gray Man starring Ryan Gosling and Chris Evans as well as Day Shift starring Jamie Foxx and Scott Adkins. The teaser gives us brief glimpses of more upcoming pics like the highly anticipated Knives Out 2 along with Enola Holmes 2. Did I also see Jason Momoa with horns? Check it out below!

The above teaser has Netflix film stars breaking the fourth wall and talking to the audience in their characters. Stars like Millie Bobby Brown and Henry Cavill for Enola Holmes 2, Kerry Washington and Charlize Theron (The School For Good and Evil), Ryan Gosling (The Gray Man), and Jamie Foxx for the vampire movie, Day Shift all make a special appearance.

Netflix has also released a new image of Foxx in Day Shift which sees the actor starring as “a hard-working, blue-collar dad who just wants to provide a good life for his quick-witted daughter. His mundane San Fernando Valley pool cleaning job is a front for his real source of income, hunting and killing vampires as part of an international union of vampire hunters.”

John Wick director Chad Stahelski serves as a producer on the movie along with Jason Spitz via 87Eleven Entertainment so I’m expecting this one to bring hood things. Throw in the fact that veteran martial artist and stunt pro JJ “Loco” Perry helmed the pic so it better deliver some serious fight action.

The footage of The Gray Man looks exhilarating as well so here’s to high hikes for that one. Evans is sporting a suspect looking mustache though but I won’t hold it against him.

Even though the footage is brief, it’s still cool to finally see some of the action that awaits. Other action pics dropping this year include Havoc with Tom Hardy and the highly anticipated sequel Extraction 2 featuring the return of Chris Hemsworth as Tyler Rake. Netflix takes its hits from critics and fans alike but I sure enjoy the hell out of them so sue me.

Other noteworthy celebs appearing in Netflix exclusive movies include Ryan Reynolds, Halle Berry, Jennifer Lopez, Chris Hemsworth, Jason Momoa, Mark Wahlberg, Kevin Hart, and Queen Latifah.

Netflix will be dropping a new movie every week in 2022 so fans of the streaming service will have justification for the price increase the platform dropped recently.

In regards to the action cinema related titles on the list, you can bet Action-Flix will have all the trailers, key art and release dates available when they are announced.
