Indie action actor Stefan Chapovskiy, who recently put out the action/sci-fi 80’s homage fan film War Gene is back and this time he’s taking on the iconic role of John J. Rambo in the new fan film Hope. Big news to go along with the announcement is that veteran genre actor and icon Eric Roberts is also involved in the project as it looks like he’ll be playing the role of Col. Madsen who looks a lot like Col. Trautman from the original three films.

Chapovskiy stated: “Happy to announce that I’ve officially joined “Hope (A Rambo Fan Film)”! The film will be directed by Larry Humphrey (Soul Pursuit, 2021), award-winning producer, writer and director. I read the script and I am really excited. Looks like we’ll be able to reveal some additional details of the iconic action drama First Blood and bring back this classic 80’s character, John Rambo, one more time. I also will be happy to work with a honored Hollywood star Eric Roberts, who joined the cast of Hope as “Colonel Madsen”. So, nothing is over, my friends!”
