It’s two weeks in with production of Accident Man 2 and up until now we’ve only had some images to look at of Star Scott Adkins and some of the cast including new additions Sarah Chang and Andy Long.
That’s all changed now as a new sizzle reel as erupted on YouTube courtesy of Adkins himself showcasing some of the insane and extreme action we are in store for. We also get a killer clown joining in on the fun so check out Adkins doing what he does best in the new video below!
Mike Fallon is back in full on martial arts mode for more zany adventures against a gaggle of colourful assassins. Look for it 2022. #AccidentMan2 #MikeFallon #ScottAdkins
This sizzle reel certainly highlights the fact that the action sequences are amplified for the follow up and fans will get ample opportunity to see Adkins and his signature action in full effect. Chang and Long look phenomenal as well so this sequel is shaping up to be bigger and badder.
Adkins also shared another BTS image of himself preparing to shoot a sequence. Judging from the roughed up look of the action star, it looks like they are shooting one of the many fight scenes. He may look banged up but his hair looks fantastic.
Adkins recently shedded some light on the project through an Instagram post where he gave fans a brief synopsis for the follow up.
Accident Man is back and this time he must best the top assassins in the world, to protect the ungrateful son of a mafia boss, save the life of his only friend and rekindle his relationship with his maniacal father figure.
I got the chance to chat with Scott recently for his new oner action-thriller One Shot and he gave us more of an in depth look at the plot at the end of the interview. Listen at around the 11 minute mark to hear Scott talk about what Mike Fallon will be up against this time around!
Jesse V. Johnson helmed the first film which is based on the character Mike Fallon, AKA Accident Man, which was created by Pat Mills in 1991 in the underground UK comic Toxic! Adkins’ longtime collaborator Stu Small returns to pen the sequel. The popular character got his nickname due to the fact that he was an assassin who made his hits look like accidents.
The follow up has seen a transfer of directors this time around as George and Harry Kirby will take the reigns from Jesse V. Johnson for the highly anticipated sequel.
The two have cut their teeth in the industry and has managed to put out numerous projects via their K&K productions banner. George even brings a high level of stunt knowledge to the picture having done work on various MCU projects like Marvel’s Doctor Strange along with Sony’s recent hit Venom: Let There Be Carnage. He also worked on the action-thriller American Assassin which also featured Adkins.
Keep it locked and loaded right here for more to drop from the set of Accident Man 2 as production is underway!
