UPDATE: Just a day after the trailer launches, we have new key art for the gleefully violent and over the top action-thriller Copshop which you can now view below!

It’s been a while since we’ve had some good action output from my main man Gerard Butler and with him suing over Angel Has Fallen, it doesn’t look like we’ll get a new installment anytime soon so it’s best to get out Butler fix where we can.

Case in point, we have the new trailer for COPSHOP which has Butler going toe to toe with the one and only Frank Grillo. Heads will roll, bullets will fly and Butler and Grillo will do the dance so indeed so check out the first look footage below!

A con artist decides to hide from an assassin inside a small-town police station. When the hit man turns up at the precinct, an unsuspecting rookie cop finds herself caught in the crosshairs.

Joe Carnahan helms and also starring in the thriller is Alexis Louder and Butler and Grillo will also be serving as producers on the film along with Carnahan, Mark Williams, Tai Duncan, Warren Goz, Eric Gold, Carnahan, Grillo, Butler, Alan Siegel, James Masciello who represents Raven Capital Management who acquired Open Road Films back in 2018.

One thing’s for sure, Butler and Grillo in the same film will certainly bring the fireworks and audiences will see them in action when COPSHOP hits theaters on September 17th.
