Say what you will about the Fast and Furious franchise but I sure as hell enjoy the crap out of them and like I’ve said in the past, these types of films are the exact reason why it’s fun to go to the cinema. With theaters slowly opening up this summer, F9 is a welcome sight for moviegoers who are thirsty for more and this latest installment looks like it won’t disappoint.

With the release 25 days away, Univeersal is revving up the hype machine for the ninth movie and has released a clip from it that proves once again Vin Diesel’s Dominic Toretto can do things with race cars that no one else can. Check out the insane and death defying new clip below!

Official Synopsis: Dom Toretto is leading a quiet life off the grid with Letty and his son, little Brian, but they know that danger always lurks just over their peaceful horizon.

This time, that threat will force Dom to confront the sins of his past if he’s going to save those he loves most. His crew joins together to stop a world-shattering plot led by the most skilled assassin and high-performance driver they’ve ever encountered: a man who also happens to be Dom’s forsaken brother, Jakob.

F9 sees the return of Justin Lin as director, who helmed the third, fourth, fifth and sixth chapters of the series when it transformed into a global blockbuster. The action hurtles around the globe—from London to Tokyo, from Central America to Edinburgh, and from a secret bunker in Azerbaijan to the teeming streets of Tblisi. Along the way, old friends will be resurrected, old foes will return, history will be rewritten, and the true meaning of family will be tested like never before.

We now know that Cena is Dom’s brother who is now a master thief and assassin and is out to get the Fast crew with the help of Charlize Theron’s Cypher. Also Han, played by Sung Kang, is alive and back! Get excited people now we can love Statham’s Deckard Shaw because he didn’t kill him.

Returning cast members include Vin Diesel, of course, as Dominic Toretto, Michelle Rodriguez as Letty Ortiz, Jordana Brewster as Mia Toretto, Tyrese Gibson as Roman Pierce, Ludacris as Tej Parker, Enrique Guzman as Simon Toretto, Nathalie Emmanuel as Ramsey, Charlize Theron as Cypher and Helen Mirren as Magdalene Shaw. New additions include John Cena as Jakob, Don’s estranged and very pissed off brother as well as Finn Cole, Anna Sawai, Vinnie Bennett, and Michael Rooker.

June 25th is the date to rev up the engines once again so check it out when it hits and have some fun going back to the movies! Say what you will but these films are fun in my book.
