Deadline is bringing word that Hollywood star Sandra Bullock is joint Bullet Train which stars Brad Pitt and is being helmed by John Wick co-creator David Leitch.

Bullock joins a cast that stars Pitt and an ensemble group that includes Joey King, Aaron Taylor Johnson, Brian Tyree Henry, Zazie Beetz, Michael Shannon, Logan Lerman, Masi Oka and Andrew Koji. This is certainly an impressive cast and the action-thriller is shaping up to be A list indeed.

Per Deadline: In what would mark the first time the two Oscar winners would cross paths on screen, Sources tell Deadline that Sandra Bullock is joining Brad Pitt in the Sony action pic Bullet Train.

The film is currently in production as we speak and it centers on “five assassins who find themselves on a fast-moving bullet train from Tokyo to Morioka with only a few stops in between. Strangely, they discover their missions are not unrelated to each other.”

Leitch is helming and also supervising the script which is penned by Zak Olkewicz. With the talent involved, the project has been on the fast track and shooting is said to hopefully get underway this fall in Los Angeles.

The film which is based on a novel by Kotaro Isaka called “Maria Beetle” will star Academy Award winner Brad Pitt and this will mark the eighth time Pitt has worked with Leitch. Ironically, this is the very first time that Bullock and Pitt will appear in a movie. Both A listers never crossed paths before. Sony did have no comment on the story however.
