If it wasn’t official before, it certainly is now and that’s David Leitch is the busiest action film director working in Hollywood today. Don’t believe me? Well, lets take a look at all the projects that Leitch has lined up thus far. There’s Nobody coming out this year which Leitch serves as a producer as well as The Division which stars Jake Gyllenhaal and Jessica Chastain. Leitch is helming that flick which will hit Netflix when completed. Lets not forget Bullet Train starring Brad Pitt which is currently filming as we speak and yes, Leitch is directing that one too.

Now it’s time to add the new action spec Fast & Loose which will see Leitch directing Will Smith. Deadline boke the word and the film follows “Smith waking up in Tijuana with no memory after being attacked and left for dead, only to discover that he’s been living two different lives — one as a rich and successful crime boss, the other as a broke and lonely CIA agent. The catch is, he doesn’t know which lifestyle represents his true identity, and worse, he’s not sure which one he wants to live, either.”

The movie was penned by Jon and Erich Hoeber (RedThe Meg) and Smith will also be producing the movie via his Westbrook Studios production banner. Leitch is producing as well for his 87Eleven production banner with longtime partner Kelly McCormick.

Smith definitely has been drinking from the fountain of youth having starred in the recent blockbuster sequel Bad Boys for Life along with Ang Lee’s Gemini Man. This newest film sounds pretty interesting and Smith will most likely bring his charisma to the role.

Stay tuned for more on this one and keep it locked and loaded right here as we are your destination for everything action!
