It’s Two Against a Monster on the International Poster for MONSTER HUNTER!

By: John M Jerva

Here’s more proof that overseas countries get cooler stuff then we do as Sony Pictures has released a ferocious new international poster for Monster Hunter Agra’s if it’s release in China which features some insane artwork and displays the likenesses of Milla Jovovich and Tony Jaa battling one of the many monsters in the video game adaptation. It’s definitely better than the one we got to view it below in all it’s glory.

Just to compare, here’s the one we got here in North America…

See what I mean. While the 2nd one is OK, it definitely doesn’t hold up to the newer one but hey at least the movie is still coming out in December…or so we hope.

Official Synopsis: Behind our world, there is another: A world of dangerous and powerful monsters that rule their domain with deadly ferocity. When an unexpected sandstorm transports Lt. Artemis (Milla Jovovich) and her unit (T.I. Harris, Meagan Good, Diego Boneta) to a new world, the soldiers are shocked to discover that this hostile and unknown environment is home to enormous and terrifying monsters immune to their firepower. In their desperate battle for survival, the unit encounters the mysterious Hunter (Tony Jaa), whose unique skills allow him to stay one step ahead of the powerful creatures. As Artemis and Hunter slowly build trust, she discovers that he is part of a team led by the Admiral (Ron Perlman). Facing a danger so great it could threaten to destroy their world, the brave warriors combine their unique abilities to band together for the ultimate showdown.”

Resident Evil franchise director Paul W.S. Anderson helms the pic and now after a switch to next April is now ready to launch in theaters in December so hopefully some theaters stay open so we may enjoy a cinematic experience one more time this year. Watch both the new domestic trailer and the international version below!
