The recent announcement that the Disney+ series The Mandalorian is set to return in October sent fanboys into a tizzy last week as the Star Wars show has been a major hit for the new streaming service.

EW has unleashed a few new images from the upcoming season which show off the returning good guys Pedro Pascal, Carl Weathers, Gina Carano and, of course, Baby Yoda. Take a peek at the returning cast below!

Plot details for the sophomore season are being locked up right but producer Dave Filoni did talk about the new episodes in the article that went along with the new pics.

“The new season is about introducing a larger story in the world. The stories become less isolated, yet each episode has its own flavor, and hopefully, we’re bringing a lot more scope to the show.”

This season is set for massive surprises as it was announced that Bobs Fett himself will make an appearance and the new cast additions are off the hook including Michael Biehn, Rosario Dawson, as Ahsoka Tano, Katee Sackoff as The Clone Wars Bo-Katan and Temuera Morrison who is playing said Boba Fett. Did I forget to mention that Timothy Olyphant is in it in an undisclosed role.

Another big draw for the sophomore season is the addition of several well known directors who will be involved this year. Confirmed directors this season include series creator and executive producer Jon Favreau, Robert Rodriguez, Rick Famuyiwa and Carl Weathers who will also Helm an episode.

Mark October 30th promptly on your calendar and expect a trailer to drop soon so get ready for some more adventures in a galaxy far, far away!
