With the first two seasons of the hit streaming series Cobra Kai, which continues the legacy of The Karate Kid, ready to hit on August 28th, Netflix has debuted a first look teaser for the upcoming season 3 which will now be shown on the streaming giant. The new teaser basically recaps the first two seasons but it does give a glimpse of the upcoming 3rd outing. The third season will debut sometime next year but you can watch the teaser now!

In Cobra Kai, Ralph Macchio and William Zabka revisit their star-making roles from the iconic film franchise, The Karate Kid. The epic adversaries return to the dojo, thirty years after the events of the 1984 All Valley Karate Tournament. A down-and-out Johnny Lawrence (Zabka) seeks redemption by reopening the infamous Cobra Kai karate dojo, reigniting his rivalry with a now-successful Daniel LaRusso (Macchio), who has been struggling to maintain balance in his life without the guidance of his mentor, Mr. Miyagi.

The series which sees the continuation of the hit movies also stars Courtney Henggeler as Amanda LaRusso, Xolo Maridueña as Miguel Diaz, Tanner Buchanan as Robby Keene, Mary Mouser as Samantha LaRusso, Jacob Bertrand as Hawk, Gianni Decenzo as Demetri, Vanessa Rubio as Carmen, Peyton List as Tory, and Martin Kove as the dreaded John Kreese.

The third season will see Daniel return to Japan for the first time since The Karate Kid Part II as he seeks to regain balance in his life ever since Mr. Miyagi passed away.

It was recently announced that the third season had finished filming before the pandemic shut everything down so it will not be delayed.
