To tell you the truth, I had forgotten that Well Go USA had secured rights to Invincible Dragon which stars Max Zhang and MMA champ Anderson Silva. The film had been released overseas a few years ago and the reviews have been less than pleasing but we now have the official North American trailer for all of you to check out courtesy of the 23rd annual Kung Fu Extravaganza which was held last night. Check it out

Official Synopsis: When a brilliant but trigger-happy detective (played by martial arts powerhouse Max Zhang) is outsmarted by a serial killer, he pays a high price for his momentary lapse in judgment. Robbed of both his fiancée and his job, he soon spirals out of control and goes back to what he knows best: fighting. Unbeknownst to him, a serendipitous reunion with an old rival (Brazilian mixed martial artist Anderson Silva) may be the key to unlocking the truth about his fiancee’s disappearance—and to apprehending the killer.

Helmed by Fruit Chan, the movie also features JuJu Chan, Kevin Cheng, Annie Liu, and Stephy Tang.

The trailer dropped during the virtual panel at Comic Con@Home which was mediated by Ric Meyers last night as SDCC is all virtual this year. Well Go USA has a rollout for this fall on October 6th on Blu-Ray, DVD and Digital!
