By: John M Jerva

Comic Con@Home brought the cast and director of The New Mutants together again yesterday which was a staggering feat seeing that the film was made over two years ago. During the panel, a new teaser debuted along with a shiny new one sheet to entice fans who have been waiting a long time to see the finished product.

The teaser wasn’t the only thing fans got to see as 20th Century Films also dropped the first 4 plus minutes of the movie as well. It was a definite win for fans who have been waiting for what seems like an eternity for the last X-Men film from 20th Century Films and considering that there was a time where it was possible that the film would never be released, it was like Christmas had come early. Check it all out below along with the full panel!

Helmed by Josh Boone, 20th Century Studios in association with Marvel Entertainment presents The New Mutants, the upcoming horror-thriller set in an isolated hospital where a group of young mutants is being held for psychiatric monitoring. When strange occurrences begin to take place, both their new mutant abilities and their friendships will be tested as they battle to try and make it out alive.

The film stars Maisie Williams (Game of Thrones), Anya Taylor-Joy (Glass), Charlie Heaton (Stranger Things), Alice Braga (Predators), Blu Hunt (The Originals), and Henry Zaga (13 Reasons Why).

The teaser still brandished the film’s PG-13 rating and as of now it is set to hit on August 28th but it remains to be seen just how it will be shown. You may now scroll down and partake in the panel, teaser and opening sequence below!
