EXCLUSIVE: Director Ross Boyask Talks I AM VENGEANCE: RETALIATION and More On The Action Fix Podcast!

By: John M Jerva

Indie filmmaker Ross Boyask loves action movies. He loves action films from all decades and this is clearly evident with the films that he makes. The prolific director has cranked out such cult classic action cinema greats like 10 Dead Men and my personal favorite Left For Dead which is non-stop martial arts awesomeness. In 2018, Ross delivered his biggest action film to date with the gritty, dark revenge thriller I Am Vengeance which features former wrestling superstar Stu Bennett in his breakout role of former special forces soldier turned mercenary John Gold.

Now Boyask is back with the bigger and badder sequel I Am Vengeance: Retaliation which features the return of Bennett as John Gold and Boyask is at the helm once again for all the mayhem and carnage. It’s the first film cranked up to 100 and it’s safe to say that this is Boyask’s most ambitious film to date with a whopping 19 fights alone in the film alone.

On this edition of The Action Fix Podcast, Ross chats about the new film as well as the original movie and working with Bennett and the amazing cast that includes Phoebe Robinson-Galvin, Katrina Durden, action phenom Jean-Paul Ly and the great Vinnie Jones. We also throw in a little Gymkata as well for good measure!

It’s director Ross Boyask and I Am Vengeance: Retaliation on this edition of The Action Fix. Enjoy!

A big special thanks to Ross Boyask for the amazing interview!

I Am Vengeance: Retaliation is now available on Digital and VOD from Saban Films and Evolutionary Films!
