I love me some good ol fashioned bloody sword fights and today we have the new trailer and release info for the Roman era period action Flick The Legion which features Mickey Rourke and Bai Ling. Get ready for some old school bloodthirsty action as Saban Films is set to unleash the movie on Digital this Friday. Partake in the poster and trailer below!

Nero’s reign. The invasion of Parthia has been a fiasco. Two Roman legions have been brought to a stand still in the snowy mountains of Armenia, and the men are dying slowly in the cold. The rest of the Roman army is in Syria, only two weeks march away but the mountains swarm with Parthian patrols. Noreno, a half-Roman, is entrusted the mission of crossing the mountains to ask for help. However, he might not be the best option, he’s an expert runner, but he despises Rome.

Helmed by Jose Magan, the sword slashing film also stars Joaquim de Almeida, Bosco Hogan, Lee Partridge, Mark Arron and Debt Collectors’ Vladimir Kulich.
