Action star Scott Adkins is back once again as he continues to count down his best films ever in his filmography as he sits inside like the rest of us. This time, Adkins goes over number 3 on his list which is one of his most passionate projects. Accident Man which is based on the underground comic of the same name which Scott read growing up is a film that is near and dear to his heart.
Helmed by action maestro Jesse V. Johnson, who has teamed up with the action phenom for numerous and outstanding films over the last few years, stars a bevy of fight screen talent including Michael Jai White, Ray Park, The Punisher himself Ray Stevenson and femme fatale Amy Johnston.
Adkins stars as elite assassin Mike Fallon who specializes in making his hits look like accidents which gives him the moniker of the “Accident Man.” When Fallon’s ex-love is murdered, Fallon runs a gauntlet of assassins to find the one responsible leading to a ton of fisticuffs and one liners galore.
Resident bad ass Tim Man, who has collaborated with Adkins many times before in films like Ninja 2, Triple Threat and more, delivers his hard edged fight choreography to this one as well and even gets to throwdown with Fallon in one of the pic’s best fight scenes. Man knows how to make Adkins looks his absolute best and makes sure that fans get to see some of his high flying prowess.
Accident Man is truly is one of Adkins personal best as the man known for action shows off a more comedic side to him and the film is one of the best comic book adaptations to come out in the last few years. Adkins states that this film will always be number one for him and we can’t wait for the sequel. The fights are fierce and non stop with the highlight being a two on one affair with Adkins taking on White and Park in a barrage of fists and feet.
Now lets let the man of the hour give us some great behind the scenes goodness as he takes us through the action-comedy Accident Man!
