We got an awesome update for you fans of Director Ross Boyask’s awesome action film I AM VENGEANCE as we have the official poster for the anticipated sequel now titled I Am Vengeance: Retaliation. The sequel sees former WWE superstar turned action hero Stu Bennett returning as ex-soldier turned mercenary John Gold. Vinnie Jones is the heavy this time around and it’s gonna be war. Check out the one sheet below!
Official Synopsis: “Former special-forces soldier John Gold is given the opportunity to bring Sean Teague – the man who betrayed his team on their final mission in Eastern Europe several years ago – to justice. Gold would cheerfully see Teague dead, but he is convinced to help transport him to a military prison to pay for his crimes. Along the way, Gold will have to fight off Teague’s team who are attempting to extract him, as well as a sniper seemingly hell-bent on killing Teague before he can be secured.”
The cast joining Bennett and Jones is pure action gold (pun intended) as the high-octane cast includes Mark Griffin who returns as Frost and new additions Jessica-Jane Stanford, Joe Egan, Josh Myers, Lee Charles, Katrina Durden, David Schaal, Greg Burridge, Bentley Kalu, Sam Benjamin, Jacob Anderton, Law Plancel, and action phenom Jean-Paul Ly from Nightshooters and Jailbreak.
The original was independent action greatness and the sequel looks like it’s going to amplify the firepower and fisticuffs up to 100 so I am eagerly awaiting all news and updates on this one. The poster above has a retro 80’s kick ass action vibe to it and I love it. Indie action cinema is where it’s at nowadays so I love to help promote these films and to get them to a wider audience.
The film is set to hit the AFM next month courtesy of Evolutionary Films so hopefully we get some more news and most importantly first footage soon!
Keep it locked and loaded right here for more 411 on I Am Vengeance: Retaliation as I am all over this one! In the meantime, check out the adrenaline pumping action from the first film below!
