ARMY OF THE DEAD: Zack Snyder’s “Balls to the Wall Zombie Freakshow” with Dave Bautista Set To Hit Netflix Winter 2020

I am currently standing in line waiting to see Lando Calrissian himself Billy Dee Williams at NYCC but I thought I’d offer up an update on Director Zack Snyder’s insane zombie action flick with Dave Bautista as the Snyder himself has served up a release time for the film.

Per Snyder: “It’s coming out on Netflix next winter.” That’s about it and it kind of sucks that we have to wait till the end of next year but it’s expected as the film is still currently in production. With a whopping price tag of $90 million, it’s safe to say that this one will take some time in post production also.

Snyder also served up a synopsis for the film in his own words which is as follows: “The movie takes place in Las Vegas. A zombie plague hits Vegas, and they’re able to contain the virus to the city – they build a wall out of shipping containers. And then the city falls. And six years later, one of the casino owners hires this group of zombie soldiers to go get his money that he left in a safe in the casino.”

Sign me up for this one along with the equally awesome looking 6 Underground with Ryan Reynolds (I saw him in person yesterday btw!) which just recently dropped a kick ass trailer this week.

Bautista stars along with Ella Purnell as well as Omari Hardwick (Kick-Ass), Chris D’Elia (You), Hiroyuki Sanada (Westworld), Raul Castillo (Vida), Nora Arnezeder (Origin), Matthias Schweighöfer (The Manny), Samantha Win (Wonder Woman), Rich Cetrone (Thor) and Garrett Dillahunt (Fear the Walking Dead).

Snyder is also producing the film along with his wife Deborah. There is no exact release date for the film aside from winter 2020 so keep it locked and loaded for more future 411!
