There’s no denying that Mark Dacascos has come into the mainstream spotlight as of late with starring roles in John Wick: Chapter 3- Parabellum and most recently Netflix’s Wu Assassins. Oh sure, we Action aficionados have known Mr. Dacascos for years but it’s great to see the martial arts and action legend getting his just dues from the rest of the world.

With that, I give you the trailer for his newest action-horror hybrid titled The Driver, which features Dacascos as a man who must do whatever it takes to save his family from a zombie infested world. From director Wych Kaosayananda (Ballistic: Ecks VS Sever), The New Trailer is jam packed with firepower, fisticuffs and Dacascos doing what he does best.

OFFICIAL SYNOPSISAfter a plague of the undead decimates human life on earth, a former hit man (Mark Dacascos, John Wick 3), his wife (Julie Condra, “Eerie, Indiana”), and daughter, Bree (Noelani Dacascos, Oh Lucy!), live quietly in a survivalist compound. But when their base is attacked, a massive explosion summons a swarm of the undead. They escape and must seek out the Haven – a rumored sanctuary up north – while the father teaches his daughter to shoot, drive, and survive before time runs out.

This film really is a family affair for Dacascos as he stars along with his real life wife Julie Condra who also starred with Mark in the classic Crying Freeman. To add to that, their daughter Noelani also stars as well.

Kaosayananda who is also known as “Kaos” is known for generating breakneck action and this one looks no different and along with the R rated carnage, it also looks like there’s a great amount of human drama as well.

Veteran stunt professional, actor and martial artist Brahim Chab (Boyka: Undisputed, Abduction) also has a role in the film where he will get to use his fighting abilities and he also worked behind the camera as fight coordinator.

We don’t have long to wait as The Driver will most certainly deliver the goods on DVD, Digital and VOD on November 26th courtesy of Lionsgate Home Entertainment And Grindstone. Don’t take my word for it though, check out some Dacascos damage below!
