It looks like Kiefer Sutherland is ready to get back into action as TVLine is reporting that the former 24 Star is ready to tackle a new series reboot of The Fugitive which will air exclusively on Quibi which is a mobile streaming app that’s going to offer exclusive content.
Also set to star is Boyd Holbrook as Mike Ferro, a man who is wrongly convicted of a heinous bomb attack. Sutherland will star as Detective Clay Bryce who will be hot on Ferro’s trail.

Per TVLine: “When a bomb rips through the Los Angeles subway train he’s riding on, blue-collar Mike Ferro just wants to make sure his wife, Allison, and 10-year-old daughter, Pearl, are safe. But the faulty evidence on the ground and “tweet-now, confirm-later” journalism paint a nightmarish picture: it looks to all the world that Mike was responsible for the heinous act. Wrongfully — and very publicly — accused, Mike must prove his innocence by uncovering the real perpetrator, before the legendary cop heading the investigation can apprehend him.”

Sutherland And Holbrook’s characters are new for the reboot and won’t be connected to the original 1960’s TV series or the hit 1993 film that starred Harrison Ford and Tommy Lee Jones.
Sutherland will be reunited with 24 creator Stephen Hopkins who will direct and executive produce and the show was created by Scorpion’s creator Nick Santora.
I was a major fan of Sutherland’s Jack Bauer in 24 and it will be great to see him hit the ground running for he show. Holbrook was also solid in Logan with Hugh Jackman as well as the recent The Predator. Keep it locked and loaded right here for more details to follow!
