London based indie production banner Shogun Films and Saban Films has unleashed a new trailer for their latest and most ambitious project to date with Knightfall. Starring iconic 007 actor Roger Moore’s son Geoffry and Jeanine Nerissa Sothcott, the new trailer is locked ‘n’ loaded with ample amounts of bullets, beatdowns and family dysfunction to satisfy action faithful looking for films that kick it retro style. Knightfall stars Geoffrey Moore, son of James Bond legend Sir Roger Moore, as MI5 agent Hugh, whose analyst girlfriend Ros Knight(Jeanine Nerissa Sothcott – Nemesis) is unwittingly dragged into a black ops mission with him. Their objective: prevent a deadly bioweapon sale. When the operation goes fatally wrong, Ros finds herself left with the key to the weapon and a with a target on her back: pursued by a relentless mercenary squad. With nowhere else to turn she heads home: to the rambling country estate of her estranged father, legendary former spy catcher Charles Knight (Ian Ogilvy – We Still Kill The Old Way). As the Knights and Hugh prepare for a terrifying home invasion, sinister forces stalk the corridors of power as enigmatic Whitehall mandarin Carmichael (Nick Moran – Lock Stock) fans discord and plots treason. As night falls, the heroic trio must utilise every trick in the espionage playbook to prevent a homeland security disaster – and stay alive.
The cast also includes Robert Cavanah (Tomb Raider), Ruper Holliday Evans (Dirty Rotten Scoundrels) and 80s movie legend Michael Paré (Streets of Fire) in a scene-stealing cameo.
