This one is gonna get ugly and the guilty are in for a real bad time as Castle is taking the gloves off and delivering an unending supply of punishment. Scroll below for the first look footage!
A Marvel Television Special Presentation: The Punisher: One Last Kill,” starring Jon Bernthal as the titular vigilante, aka Frank Castle, has been unveiled ahead of its Disney+ debut. In the special, Frank searches for meaning beyond revenge, when an unexpected force pulls him back into the fight.
Bernthal promised a darker, unforgiving Punisher and it looks like he’s kept his promise to hardcore fans. Initial trailer reaction sees a Punisher that is visceral, unflinching and unapologetic in its tone. The action is brutal, practical and off the charts and this should be the version of the gun toting vigilante we have been waiting for ever since Dolph Lundgren first played the iconic role.
Bernthal has been my favorite since he first debuted in season two of the Netflix Daredevil series and he is only getting better and more savage with age. What is also impressive is the fact that Disney and Marvel are going full tilt and making this special presentation a hard R rated bloodbath of epic proportions as it finally appears that Bernthal’s version of the iconic vigilante is ready to fully embrace his dark side and the skull that it represents. Bring it Frank.
