Saban Films have just dropped a new trailer for their latest action-thriller with a black ops tinge to it with Agent Zero. The film hails from France and Marine Vacth stars as a former elite warrior who must reignite her dormant skills when the past comes back with guns blazing. A young French woman hiding a dangerous past, has finally carved out a quiet life in the stunning country of Morocco. But when her boyfriend is gunned down and left in a coma, the peace she’s built collapses. Forced to resurrect the ruthless intelligence operative she once was, Agent Zero hunts down those who betrayed her mercilessly and without hesitation.
Agent Zero was helmed by Guillaume De Fontenay with a supporting cast that includes Emmanuelle Bercot, Niels Schneider, Gregoire Colin, Slimane Dazi, Stanislas Merhar, Lionel Abelanski, Salim Kechiouche and Hichem Yacoubi, Alaa Safi. Marc-Etienne Schwartz, Jean-Yves Robin, Marc Stanimirovic serve as producers on the movie.
Upon viewing of the new trailer, Agent Zero looks like a legit action pic with a polished feel to it along with action sequences and stunt work that could be worthy of a Tom Cruise led Mission: Impossible flick. Having no initial knowledge of the movie was a benefit as this one looks to utilize the ever-familiar former operative gone rogue trope that could rise above many others. The action definitely looks like a strong selling point here as this is now firmly on my watch list.
