Filming has since wrapped on the third installment of the Scott Adkins led continuous take action-thriller One Last Shot, but news still comes on the third entry to whet the appetites of rabid fans everywhere waiting for the hat trick in the series. Confirming recent reports that action icon Dolph Lundgren has joined the cast, Lundgren has now made an appearance as a new image has debuted on the IMDb as he took a photo with co-star Michel Curiel. Joining Adkins and Lundgren in the cast are Steven Cree, Hannah Ware, Jess Khan-Lee and martial arts star Kane Kosugi. Sky will release One Last Shot in the UK and Ireland. Sony Pictures Entertainment will release the film in the U.S. and everywhere else. James Nunn, who directed the first two films, returns to helm again. Ben Jacques is producing One Last Shot for Signature Films Marc Goldberg; Sarah Gabriel and Gareth Williams are executive producers.

Choreographing the action and fight sequences is action maestro Tim Man who has worked with Adkins on several pictures dating back to Ninja 2: Shadow of a Tear. Man is one of the elite action directors and choreographers working today and anytime he hooks up with Adkins; fans know that they are in for a full-throttle good time. Ever since first collaborating on Ninja 2, Adkins and Man have been side by side for several more action epics including Boyka: Undisputed 4, Eliminators, Accident Man 1&2, Abduction, Triple Threat, Legacy of Lies, One Shot, One More Shot, and Castle Falls. It’s safe to say that if Adkins is starring in an action movie, Man will be right there to choreograph all the chaos. Man is a true talent who knows how to craft brutal ballet onscreen in such a way that it’s violent poetry in motion.
The One Shot franchise began in 2021 with Ryan Phillippe (Shooter) and Ashley Greene (the Twilight franchise) and the sequel One More Shot which took place right after the events of the first film hit in 2023. The movies, all directed by James Nunn are shot in a way that makes it look like the action is all one continuous shot with Adkins deploying his elite signature skills for the breakneck action sequences that he is known for. I must say that besides the Undisputed flicks, this series is by far my favorite of Adkins.
