That’s a wrap! Action icon and legit human special effect Scott Adkins has officially announced that filming has wrapped on the third and supposed final film of the continuous take action franchise that started with One Shot back in 2021 and continued with 2024’s One More Shot. Adkins took to his Patreon site to announce the news and spoke of the blood, sweat and tears that went into one of his best series of films after the Undisputed franchise.
Along with the special announcement, Adkins also shared another image from the film which showcases him laying some serious hurt upon an unfortunate assailant. Scroll below for the reveal!

In the post, Adkins stated: That’s a wrap on the One Shot franchise!!! Thank you to the cast and crew for all your hard work. 3 movies all shot in one continuous take (well kind of). You can’t make an action film in one take from beginning to end – not with gun fights, knife fights, explosions & car chases. Maybe someday I will be proved wrong, but I believe our humble One Shot movies are a shining example of technical filmmaking on a budget at its best!! I am insanely proud of what James Nunn (director), Ben Jaques (producer) and myself have achieved with this franchise, and I truly think these movies are not respected enough by the mainstream. Anyone with any knowledge of filmmaking can appreciate what it takes to accomplish and it ain’t easy. These movies are the hardest films you can possibly make as the audience only sees the best ONER that worked but that might be one of twenty takes. One Last Shot has left me with a torn pectoral muscle, torn hamstring, cracked rib, damaged knee and shoulder but I wouldn’t change a thing. You will love One Last Shot but in the meantime you can re watch One Shot & One More Shot! SA.
The news that filming is complete comes off the heels of the official announcement from Screen Daily that fellow action icon and living legend Dolph Lundgren has also joined the cast in an undisclosed role. Kane Kosugi, who took on Adkins in Ninja 2, was also a part of the action and the two wage war once again in the upcoming third installment.
The official synopsis for One Last Shot reads: Navy Seal Jake Harris must stop a team of mercenaries, led by his disillusioned former comrade, from disabling the US missile defense network.

Joining Adkins, Kosugi and Lundgren in the cast are Steven Cree and Hannah Ware. Sky will release One Last Shot in the UK and Ireland. Sony Pictures Entertainment will release the film in the U.S. and everywhere else. Ben Jacques is producing One Last Shot for Signature Films Marc Goldberg; Sarah Gabriel and Gareth Williams are executive producers.
UK indie action filmmaker James Nunn, who helmed the last two, returns to direct one again from a script penned by Jamie Russell, and this movie takes place right after the events of 2024’s One More Shot left off, and the movie will look to be shot as if it is one single, continuous shot.
The One Shot franchise began in 2021 with Ryan Phillippe (Shooter) and Ashley Greene (the Twilight franchise) and the sequel One More Shot which took place right after the events of the first film hit in 2023. The movies, all directed by James Nunn are shot in a way that makes it look like the action is all one continuous shot with Adkins deploying his elite signature skills for the breakneck action sequences that he is known for.
