If you thought that Scott Adkins taking on Kane Kosugi for round 2 was major breaking news as One Last Shot is now in production, we’ve got even more spectacular intel for you as Screen Daily has just dropped the word that Hollywood and action icon Dolph Lundgren is set to reunite with Adkins as well! Lundgren, of course, also starred with Adkins in the films Expendables 2, Section 8, Legendary, Castle Falls (which Lundgren also directed) and Universal Soldier: Day of Reckoning and now the two are ready to bring the heat once again.
According to Screen Daily: UK action feature One Last Shot starring Scott Adkins and Dolph Lundgren has commenced filming in west London, with Sky set to release in UK-Ireland as a Sky Original.
UK filmmaker James Nunn has returned to direct the third in the series, written by Jamie Russell, which continues where 2024’s One More Shot left off and will be presented once again in one single, continuous shot. A first look image has been unveiled, with production commencing earlier this month.

We also have a plot for the hat trick which will deal with Adkins’ character, elite Navy SEAL commander Jake Harris, having to go up against a former comrade and his team of mercs who are readying to sabotage the United States missile defense network. There is no word yet as to what role Lundgren will be playing.
Official Synopsis: Navy Seal Jake Harris must stop a team of mercenaries, led by his disillusioned former comrade, from disabling the US missile defense network.
Adkins revealed that he would be battling Kosugi in the film via his Patreon site, so it is most likely that Kosugi is playing one of the mercenaries. Additional cast members also include Steven Cree and Hannah Ware.
It has also been reported that Sky will release One Last Shot in the UK and Ireland. Sony Pictures Entertainment will release the film in the U.S. and everywhere else. Ben Jacques is producing One Last Shot for Signature Films Marc Goldberg, Sarah Gabriel and Gareth Williams are executive producers.
The One Shot franchise began in 2021 with Ryan Phillippe (Shooter) and Ashley Greene (the Twilight franchise) and the sequel One More Shot which took place right after the events of the first film hit in 2023. The movies, all directed by James Nunn are shot in a way that makes it look like the action is all one continuous shot with Adkins deploying his elite signature skills for the breakneck action sequences that he is known for.
