Hollywood-based Epic Pictures Group is set to release the action thriller LOST HORIZON across North America. The film will open in select theaters on November 28, 2025, followed by a digital release on December 2, 2025. LOST HORIZON was directed by Patrick Garcia, who is known for cult hits such as Hell Trip, Last Sacrament, and The Zens, as well as his award-winning work in animation and visual effects. The film stars Tom Fairfoot (The Crown), Aimee Botes (Trailer Made), Kayla Osburn (Killsite), Lebohang Mzwimbi, Ryan Massie, Llewellyn Cordier (Hunting Jessica Brok), Farai Chigudu (When Africa Meets You), Alonso Grandio (Diepe Waters), and Joseph Clarke. Saturn Media served as the film’s production company.

How far would one man go to confront his past and fight for justice in a land torn apart by conflict and corruption? LOST HORIZON is a thrilling tale of betrayal, survival, and redemption set against a backdrop of war and criminal activity. Former soldier Michael Foster (Fairfoot) must rescue a war correspondent from a sinister doctor and later lead a daring operation to save a colonial’s daughter from rebels. As he navigates the dangerous web of poaching and rebellion, Michael uncovers a conspiracy and faces off against ruthless foes in a climatic showdown.
“We’re excited for audiences to discover Lost Horizon, a bold, high-energy action film that delivers everything fans of the genre crave”, says Epic Pictures Group CEO Patrick Ewald. “The film delivers solid thrills, great performances, and the kind of confident filmmaking that reminds you how satisfying a smart action movie can be.”

Director Patrick Garcia notes “In a land still healing from the remnants of war, a team arrives to finish a job. But what they discover is that some wounds don’t heal — they open doors. Lost Horizon asks: will you walk through them, or run from them? My mission with this film was to tell the story of a civil war through the eyes of veteran Michael Foster — to explore his internal wounds, the moral debts, and the silent treaties we sign with ourselves.”
Lost Horizon looks to separate itself from other black ops/mercenary style combat thrillers of the past with a sensational cast that includes Tom Fairfoot who has been in many heavy-handed dramatic projects including The Crown. Fairfoot definitely has the dramatic chops, but he also looks to excel in the physical aspect as well as there are multiple action sequences fueled by impressive choreography and practical stunt work. Is Fairfoot the first name that comes to mind when one thinks of bullet and explosion fests? Absolutely not, but that works in its favor and the production value and full throttle tome looks epic.
