PG-13 rating aside, I still think that Predator: Badlands still looks bombastic, killer and extreme and just because we won’t be seeing humans get shredded won’t deter me one bit from not liking something different in the franchise from filmmaker Dan Trachtenberg. Seeing an unproven Yautja going to a kill zone of a new world to prove himself sounds savagery delicious and the footage seen thus far looks impressive.
Tickets have officially gone live for purchase, and with it, 20th Century Studios has unloaded new posters and a featurette that peels the layers off this latest franchise installment. Scroll below for all the fresh intel, footage and one sheets below!
Set in the future on a remote planet, where a young Predator, outcast from his clan, finds an unlikely ally in Thia (Fanning) and embarks on a treacherous journey in search of the ultimate adversary.

Elle Fanning stars as Thia and the new Predator is portrayed by Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi. Along with directing, Trachtenberg also produces along with John Davis, Marc Toberoff, Ben Rosenblatt, and Brent O’Connor. Patrick Aison, who also wrote Prey, penned this script as well from an idea by Trachtenberg.
Hot off the heels of the success of the animated Predator anthology movie Predator: Killer of Killers, Badlands looks to continue the success by adapting what made the anime great but once again in live action. There is certainly a lot to love here, and this final trailer really delivers on the insane action and creatures we will see but I understand the skepticism at the same time but I’m onboard and cannot wait until November when the bloodletting begins.
