I first remember when I saw the book Primitive War which hailed from author Nathan Pettus back in 2017 and immediately was hooked on the insane premise of Vietnam War era soldiers battling prehistoric dinosaurs. It’s a bombastic idea that begged to be made into a movie and now there is one courtesy of top tier indie filmmaker Luke Sparke best known for his Occupation sci-fi franchise.
Filmed with blood, sweat, tears and a never quit attitude, Primitive War hits theaters this weekend courtesy of Fathom Events and we have some clips from the film that are circling online. Scroll below for a sneak peek of the R rated mayhem that awaits!

Written and directed by Luke Sparke (Occupation Rainfall, Bring Him to Me) and produced by Carly Sparke and Carmel Imrie of Sparke Films. The film is based on the cult-followed book by Ethan Pettus where a squad of soldiers in 1968 discover that dinosaurs have been let loose in the jungles of the Vietnam war.
