I’m back from my little hiatus last week to celebrate my oldest daughter’s graduation from high school and my youngest daughter’s 10th birthday and what better way to return then with an exclusive! Paramount Global Content Distribution has given us an exclusive clip from director James Bamford’s upcoming action-thriller The Last Gunfight which has hit Digital starting today. The new film tells the story of an underground tournament where the world’s most elite assassins battle it out for sole supremacy. As genre fans can expect, mass chaos ensues, and top tier action design is the name of the game as today’s best in action cinema showcase their particular set of skills in a film that will satisfy those looking for their next adrenaline cinema fix.
The exclusive clip, titled By Going Deep, features “Adam Woodward and Sam Symons discussing tactics for surviving in the game, as well as figuring out a clue that helps them to find a weapon to protect themselves.”
You can watch it only here in the player below!
Directed by James Bamford and written by J.D. Zeik, the film is set in a brutal underground tournament where the world’s top assassins fight to the death. But hidden among them is a rogue crew with its own deadly agenda: infiltrate the competition, survive the bloodbath, and take down the mastermind pulling the strings. As alliances shift and bodies pile up, the real battle is for revenge and a fortune worth killing for.

THE LAST GUNFIGHT stars Jon Voight (Academy Award® winner for Coming Home), Adam Woodward (Man With No Past), Charlotte Vega (American Assassin), Eloise Lovell Anderson (Villain), Daniel Bernhardt (Bloodsport II: The Next Kumite), Brock Pierce (The Mighty Ducks), Shaina West (Jade), Alix Villaret (Utopia), Skyler Shaye (The Secret Life of the American Teenager), and Rade Sherbedgia (Taken 2).
The cast for Bamford’s latest excuse to cause mass havoc onscreen includes West and Voight along with Adam Woodward, Charlotte Vega, Eloise Lovell, Anderson, Daniel Bernhardt, Brock Pierce, Alix Villaret, Skyler Shaye, and Rade Sherbedgia. Bamford helms the action pic from a screenplay penned by J.D. Zeik with Steven Paul serving as producer.
The recently released trailer (which you can also see below) is loaded heavily with the stripped down and brutal action design fans can expect and coming from Bamford who is no stranger to doing stunts, this action film will look to check all the boxes. Voight has been collaborating with Bamford as of late as the icon has also starred in the Bamford’s recently released High Ground which also stars Charlie Weber (The Painter) which I had the opportunity to chat with.
