Just to make it clear, I was onboard with the sequel to The Accountant 2 as soon as it was announced, and I knew next to nothing about it. Flash forward to today and with the release of the second trailer, my excitement is at a fever pitch with Ben Affleck and Jon Bernthal jocking up and going tactical for a new round of punishment to those who did wrong while doing some serious brotherly bonding at the same time. Nothing says family like running and gunning down adversaries. Check out the brothers in arms in action below!

In case you wanted to unwind after the official US Tax Day, Amazon MGM Studios is readying advanced screenings of The Accountant 2 on April 15. The worldwide theatrical release will soon follow on April 25, so I know what I’m going to be doing on. The sequel is directed by Gavin O’Connor once again from a screenplay written by Bill Dubuque. Cynthia Addai-Robinson, Daniella Pineda, Allison Robertson, and J.K. Simmons also star. It is produced by Affleck, Lynette Howell Taylor, and Mark Williams.
I am such a fan of the first movie, but the sequel looks even better with some solid and satisfying chemistry between Affleck and Bernthal along with some much need levity. There is also a more extensive look of the climatic shootout which just screams lock n load, kill em all and let God sort them out. Can. Not. Wait!
