Last month saw the release of the 11th entry in the Sniper franchise in Sniper: The Last Stand seeing series star Chad Michael Collins and relative newcomer Ryan Robbins who made his debut in Assassin’s End return with a resounding bang delivering one of the best installments yet. Back in 1993 when the first Sniper hit with Tom Berenger and Billy Zane, I did not think that we would be here inn2025 talking about the eleventh film but yet here we are. The Sniper franchise continues to switch things up while delivering one of the best DTV action franchises ever with a constant surge of theatrics, bravado and bombastic action that satisfies on many levels.
Last night, I had the distinct honor of being a guest on The Movie Dojo Podcast with the one and only That Phat Samurai Guy Preston Downey where we not only gave our thoughts on each and every film, but we ranked them as well. It wasn’t easy let me tell you. Some are better than others, but one thing is certain and that is the Sniper franchise is tier one action and adrenaline entertainment and hopefully it continues for many more entries.
