Here you go and you’re welcome as i am sharing the latest trailer and key art for Uncork’d Entertainment’s newest indie action-horror hybrid Armed. Neil Mackay, who also directed some classics like Battleground, Sixty Minutes to Midnight, and Death Hunt, brings his latest low scale indie masterpiece in carnage and blood-soaked tactical chaos as a lethal killing machine created during the Cold War is reactivated and set loose on unfortunate former soldiers who are about to find out that they have stolen the wrong thing. Revel in the bullets and bloodshed below!
Official Synopsis for ARMED: A group of veteran marines steal a shipment of weapons from the military only to find a Cold War era robot that hunts them down, determined to complete its mission. Nothing can stop this deadly killing machine.

Terry McDonald, who is also responsible for writing the script to Sixty Minutes to Midnight pens the screenplay here which sees the cast including Omar Tucci (My Mother Stole My Life), Mason Cromwell (Swarms of Drifting Shadows), Rick Amsbury (A Bluegrass Christmas), Greg Johnston (Death Hunt), Babak Baharestan (The Bench), Red Carlsen (The Wildman Massacre), Quinton Neufeldt (Collision Course), Iraj Sanjari (Bearer), Mark Starratt (Regicide), Thomas Joseph O’Neill (Disasters at Sea), Mike Sniezek (April in Autumn), and Riley Lewis (Death Hunt).
Armed is now available to watch on Digital Platforms and judging from the trailer, this one looks as advertised with low budget action, thrills and ripped off tropes from several other movies that have come before. If anything, this looks like a solid one time watch with beers and buddies on a Saturday night and you probably could do worse. Rick Amsbury looks like he’s all in with his role in this one so I do love indie action films where the actors take it seriously and do the best they can with the material given to them. One last thing, is it just me or does the face of the killer machine look like a puppet from Team America: World Police? Just asking.
