All good things must come to an end and even though they may have stretched out the Cobra Kai series a little bit, I still cannot get enough of it and will be sad to see it go this month when the final five episodes hit Netflix on February 13th. The series, which grew out of a burning nostalgia for old school fans and ushered in a new era for newcomers. Cobra Kai pushed The Karate Kid movies into another stratosphere and made heroes out of villains and vice versa. They say you can never go home again, but for all the old timers like me, that’s exactly what we did when this sow was created.
A new trailer along with key art has dropped for the final episodes and it sees our heroes reeling from the tragic events of Barcelona. The competition will continue through, and it is coming back home to The Valley as Daniel, Johnny and everyone must fight one last battle. The new teaser gave me goosebumps as it played a new cover of the original film’s song “You’re the Best” while we get an image of both Daniel and Johnny doing the crane on beach posts. A perfect visual for how far we and these characters have come.
Enough talk! Watch the final trailer for the final fight below!
I never have done a proper review for the series although I have been vocal about how much I love it so expect a special episode of The Action Fix Podcast to sum everything up when I’ve watched the final episodes.

Ralph Macchio and William Zabka return once again as their iconic Karate Kid characters Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence, with returning fan favorite cast members including Xolo Maridueña, Tanner Buchanan, Mary Mouser, Jacob Bertrand, Gianni DeCenzo, Peyton List, Vanessa Rubio, and Griffin Santopietro. Martin Kove hits it out of the park one more time in the villainous role of John Kreese from the classic original films, with 90’s action star Thomas Ian Griffith back as the snake in the grass villain Terry Silver who was first seen in The Karate Kid Part III. Yuji Okumoto is back as Chozen Toguchi from The Karate Kid Part II.
