However, the past never stays buried for long. Matt Daniels, a former accomplice of Lapierre, resurfaces, shattering the tranquility of his retirement. Daniels’ haunted gaze speaks volumes, but it’s the words he utters that send chills down Lapierre’s spine: “Lewis has been kidnapped by a criminal organization.” Lewis, their long-time friend, is now trapped in an endless nightmare.
