Amazon Prime’s The Boys has been a runaway hit since its debut a few years back and part of that success has been due to the performance of Jack Quade. The versatile actor is effortlessly flawless as he mixes comedic chops with hard R action and I’m guessing why it took so long for him to headline a thriller all his own.
Well, the wait is over as Quaid is jocking up for a new and thrilling new flick titled NOVOCAINE which sees him starring as a man who feels no pain. Of course this leads to nefarious circumstances and taut action sequences so partake in the new trailer below!
When the girl of his dreams (Amber Midthunder) is kidnapped, everyman Nate (Jack Quaid) turns his inability to feel pain into an unexpected strength in his fight to get her back.
Prey’s breakout star Amber Midthunder also stars and she’s proven her action street cred as well so here’s hoping see gets to do a little of what she did in the Predator franchise. Dan Berk & Robert Olsen co-direct from a script penned by Lars Jacobson and this one sports a fun, adrenaline rush vibe similar to Bob Odenkirk’s Nobody with the everyday man turning one man army. You can bet that if successful, expect to see Quaid tack up for more flicks like this in the future.
