Rhames is one of those actors in cinema that has quietly crafted one hell of a career in films like the original boxing pic Undisputed in which he starred as the punishing boxing champ turn con “Iceman” Chambers as well as the blockbuster Mission: Impossible franchise alongside Tom Cruise.

SYNOPSIS
Golden Globe® winner Ving Rhames and Luise Grossmann star in an electrifying film about Toni, a determined female boxer, trying to break down barriers as she redefines what it means to be a woman in today’s world. When Elliott (Rhames), a tough ex-boxing champion, accepts the challenge to train Toni (Grossmann), the two mismatched characters form an unlikely alliance. Torsten Ruether writes and directs with a supporting cast that includes Jordan E. Cooper, and Joanna Cassidy. This one definitely is taking its cues from Clint Eastwood’s boxing masterpiece Million Dollar Baby so let’s hope that Luiii’s fate is a better one then how that movie ended. It also is resonating Rocky vibes so this has crowd pleasing all over it.
