While it’s still unclear whether we will get another Has Fallen movie with Gerard Butler’s bad ass throwback action hero Mike Bannon, it is evident that the franchise will live on in other iterations and now HULU is set to debut the newest entry Paris Has Fallen with a brand-new trailer featuring bravado, bullets, action design aplenty and global conspiracy. Check out the latest promo and release intel below!
Official Synopsis: When a terrorist group led by the villainous Jacob Pearce (Sean Harris) attacks a high-profile event, with the French Minister of Defence as their target, protection officer Vincent Taleb (Tewfik Jallab) finds himself working with street-smart MI6 operative Zara Taylor (Ritu Arya) to save the day. But when events take a dark turn, Vincent and Zara soon realize that the plan extends beyond just one politician. When they suspect that one of their colleagues in the security services is feeding information to Jacob, Vincent and Zara find themselves needing to rely only on each other. Increasingly isolated and with Jacob always one step ahead, can this unlikely pair stop Paris from falling to a man hell-bent on vengeance?
This new threat is going to require two warriors to take it on in tough as nails protection officer Vincent Taleb, played by Tewfik Jallab and MI6 hotshot Zara Taylor who is portrayed by actress Ritu Arya. The trailer looks polished enough and the set pieces worthy of an Has Fallen entry so hopefully the entire series will deliver the goods. Jallab certainly looks impressive in the trailer but let’s face it, he’s not Butler or his alter ego Mike Banning but I will give it a shot.

Butler was supposed to do a fourth entry with the aforementioned Night Has Fallen but there has been no movement on that project for a while. it didn’t help that Butler sued Millenium Films who distributes the movies for insufficient compensation akin to what Scarlett Johannson did with Disney so maybe there are still some bad blood there. The last film, Angel Has Fallen, did wrap up banning’s story arc quite nicely though so if the fourth film never happens, at least we have three kick ass films to watch Banning, whom I call this generation’s John McClane, do his thing with his particular skill set.
