If the new werewolf actioner Operation Blood Hunt wasn’t enough to curb your appetite for lycans then Frank Grillo has your six come this December. The action star is ready to battle super Lycans in the new thriller Werewolves and we have the first trailer and savage key art for you below!
Official Synopsis: Two scientists try to stop a mutation that turns people into werewolves after being touched by a super-moon the year before.

Steven C. Miller, who has helmed a bevy of DTV actioners and thrillers such Extraction, Arsenal, and Escape Plan 2: Hades, directs from a script penned by Matthew Kennedy. Grillo is definitely the one to watch here but he’s joined by a cast that includes Katrina Law (NCIS), Ilfenesh Hadera (Godfather Of Harlem), James Michael Cummings (City On The Hill) and genre icon Lou Diamond Phillips (Young Guns).
The film was titled Year 2 at one time before they changed it to the genre friendly name we now have. Grillo is in fine one man army obliteration mode here and all his swagger and bravado are definitely on display. What excites me as well as others is the use of practical effects especially when it comes to the lycans themselves and this radiates a much welcomed kick back vibe to when these types of films were mainstream.
Werewolves hits with a wide theatrical release on December 6th. This is also awesome news as we will get to watch all the blood and carnage on the big screen.
