Action-Flix is debuting a brand-new clip from the Saban Films action-thriller Mafia Wars which sees Smallville’s Tom Welling face off against Cam Gigandet (Never Back Down, Shrapnel). From writer and director Scott Windhauser comes a blistering, bullet riddled Black ops thriller as Welling goes undercover to take down a notorious crime lord played by Gigandet. This one looks to check all the boxes for action fans with bravado, anti-hero theatrics and fierce action sequences featuring heavy weaponry and fisticuffs. Check out the new clip below!
Official Synopsis: Terry Jacobs (Tom Welling) is a recently paroled felon forced to go undercover to bring down Griff (Cam Gigandet), the head of the most infamous mob syndicate in Italy.

Windhauser helms from a script he also penned and supporting players include Cher Cosenza, Chris Mullinax, Al Linea, Sidhartha Mallya, Alessia Alciati, and Sterling Griffin. Check out some new images from the flick as well as we wait for the world premiere of old school chaos and hyper-violence!
The trailer supplied elicits the right response for action faithful with Welling going all one-man war and Gigandet showing us what probably happened to his character of Mccarthy after the events of the MMA thriller. I always knew that he wouldn’t amount to anything good. I kid though as the trailer is filled with blazing tracer fire and I love how Welling, who starred on Smallville for ten seasons, is truly embracing his inner action hero as he looks fantastic and the part of a black ops felon. Gigandet has been doing mostly heroic roles as of late so it’s definitely a welcome switch to see him go all in on being bad once again. Bring on the inevitable throwdown because I’ll be watching!
