If The Avengers was the most anticipated team up ever in the MCU, then the Thunderbolts* is…well…the exact opposite. The most irreverent team-up is here as Marvel Studios has unveiled a brand-new trailer for their upcoming superhero team up and things are going to get dysfunctional in a hurry. Florence Pugh is back as depressed assassin Yelena Belova, and she is joined by Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes, David Harbour as Red Guardian, Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, Wyatt Russell as US Agent, Hannah John-Kamen as Ghost, and Olga Kurylenko as Taskmaster. Additional cast members include Geraldine Viswanathan, Lewis Pullman as The Sentry and the one and only Harrison Ford will return as Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross after he debuts in Captain America: Brave New World in February.
Jake Schreier helms all the dysfunctional chaos and action with Kevin Feige producing. Executive producers include Louis D’Esposito, Brian Chapek, Jason Tamez and Scarlett Johansson who has made nice with Disney and Marvel.
Thunderbolts* will hit theaters on May 5, 2025, and will be the final installment of Phase Five!
