Clive Standen is continuing to make a name for himself with DTV action as the actor and star of the Taken series as well as Vikings is back in a new pulsating thriller titled Clear Cut from Brian Skiba. Standen is trying to live a simple life, but wouldn’t you know it as his past comes back to bite him in the ass like it always does. Boasting a solid action cast including Tom Welling, Stephen Dorf, Jesse Metcalfe and Alec Baldwin, check out the new key art and images below!

Academy Award Nominee Alec Baldwin, Stephen Dorff and Tom Welling star in an electrifying drama about one man’s treacherous journey on the road to redemption.
It’s interesting to see Baldwin in a film with all the issues he’s been having over the Rust tragedy but there’s no denying how solid an actor he is. this looks like a rough and tumble action-thriller with a sensational cast. The action looks solid and practical which is always a plus and a notch in my book with Standen continuing an impressive display of heroism on screen that also includes Vendetta along with Jesse V Johnson’s epic period sword and sandal flick Boudica: Queen of War. It’s also refreshing to see Dorff, Welling and Munro all playing heels as they are usually protagonists. Well maybe not Dorff but the other two especially.
Skiba is a solid DTV action director as well having delivered the Ryan Phillippe-Casper Van Dien led old school action film The 2nd which was impressive. The below trailer packs a wallop of throwback, practical stunts filled action pieces including shootouts, knife fights and throwdowns that should entertain the masses looking to occupy their free time with violence and vengeance.
