You read my review, now watch me gush all over it as I chat up Bren Foster’s directorial debut Life After Fighting. Indie action cinema needs support and with my website and podcast, I’m championing small scale action movies that deserve to be mentioned in the same sentence as John Wick and The Raid. After cutting his teeth with decades of martial arts training and breaking into action cinema, Foster is now a full-on filmmaker delivering the action movies his way and for the fans.
With Life After Fighting (read my full review here), Foster has crafted one of the best action films of 2024 with a film that showcases heavy human drama mixed with some of the most lethal and devastating action design I’ve seen in a long time. Foster brings action cinema fans a true and savagely legit action drama with heart, drama and blistering and punishing martial arts action design.
On this episode of The Action Fix Live, I do my best to hype up this film that will definitely be up there on my list of favorite action films of the year and it might just do the unthinkable and take the coveted number 1 spot. If you love action, martial arts and characters you’ll invest in then support Life After Fighting and watch it ASAP!
