This weekend sees the release of The Fall Guy from stunt and action maestro David Leitch (Hobbs & Show, Bullet Train) and his 87North production banner. Starring A list celebs Ryan Gosling, who has my vote for new generation action star, and the always lovely Emily Blunt, The Fall Guy is a popcorn chomping, soda sipping summer movie thrill ride that delivers a romantic comedy/action epic vibe to it like movies such as Romancing the Stone. From the spot-on chemistry of the two leads to the bombastic set pieces and laugh out humor, this is a wonderful and heartfelt love letter to the stunt community that needs more love and recognition.
