Well, this is movie marketing from a whole new level. Paramount Pictures has just unveiled the first trailer for the ambitious new CGI animated Transformers One and the trailer launch was done from space. No kidding. It seems that the trailer was released when a space vessel reached 125,000 feet above the Earth and when that happened, the film’s stars Chris Hemsworth and Brian Tyree henry introduced the new footage for all to see. Now that’s movie promotion. Scroll below to see the full trailer now!
Official Synopsis: Transformers One tells the long-awaited origin story of how the most iconic characters in the Transformers universe, Orion Pax and D-16, went from brothers-in-arms to become sworn enemies, Optimus Prime and Megatron.

The cast is tacked for this one and joining Hemsworth and Henry are Scarlett Johansson as Elita, Keegan-Michael Key as Bumblebee, Jon Hamm as Sentinel Prime, and Laurence Fishburne as Alpha Trion. Josh Cooley helmed the pic from a script penned by Andrew Barrer, Steve Desmond, and Gabriel Ferrari.
Some fans might not gravitate towards this film as it looks to contain a lot more comedy then in previous Transformers flicks. I mean, this is essentially an action/sci-fi/comedy so we shall see how it’s received especially from diehard fans. I loved the trailer and think it’s rather refreshing. It’s also a plus to see Optimus Prime and Megatron as friends in this origin story before they became archenemies. It’s also awesome to see the characters on Cybertron as their home planet has not been seen much in movies. Fans will also get excited as this entry showcases how the bots were given the power to transform into vehicles and other various objects. Coupled with a sleek look and visuals and this one looks most inviting for older and newer fans of the franchise.
